Human Connection

In a world that is increasingly involved in online communication, all I see is a mental health uprising, people crying out in desperation to be seen and a sense of isolation.
Our longing for connection goes beyond a like or small comment. It's irrelevant how you are predisposed, introverted or extroverted. To an extent, we all crave actual human conversation.

When did we get so caught up in this whirlwind of chaotic movement, that we neglected something so paramount where our insides are crying? Please could someone hear me?
When did we lose touch with such an essential human need? When did we abandon human connection not just with others but also with ourselves? When did the focus shift so drastically that we lost sight of an essential part of humanity?

As humans, we crave it. It's inherent. You may think it's not me, but be assured we are part of a world that I'm sure when it's silent, your heart's desire for connection is clear.
We can find respite in solitude. That's important too, but it's also a human desire to seek out engagement with reciprocation, affirming that, yes, we are seen, we mattered, we were here.

So make room for human connection because it's a need we all have. There is healing and a benefit in being present with someone, knowing that you are seen.
You were created to gather, to have community, so initiate space, don't get so consumed that you spiral in the schedule of a tireless routine.

Don't get overwhelmed. Quality is more valuable than quantity. Just look for people that draw you. It's there you'll find this beautiful thing called authenticity.
Don't stress, don't overthink, don't allow the anxieties of the material world to make you retreat. You will find wonder and connection when you engage in human nature's simplicity.
