Words sometimes fail, but the language that is shared is the same regardless.
Misunderstandings are commonly formed, sadly leaving peoples' attempts filled with hardness.
It’s a barrier, articulation that is, especially in a world that is trying so hard to be heard.
Yet so often, our best still find people misunderstood because we’ve looked past the expression and only seen the words.
It’s relevant to actively observe, lean in, listen and there you just might find a connection.
It’s frequent that when body language is recognised, we see that, in fact, words aren’t the first perception.
It is amazing what can be understood when we choose to see a person and how their body interacts.
Seeing this extends past the obstacle of verbal language where comprehension is lacked.
It’s a skill to tune in to, be intentional, for countenance is the best language spoken if to focus, we decide.
And just maybe here, as we learn to shift the definition of what language is, the hope of understanding can reside.
